Acupuncture is a therapeutic method used
to encourage natural healing, reduce or relive pain and improve
function of affected areas of the body. Very fine sterile
disposable needles are inserted through the skin and tissue
at specific points that are determined depending on the condition
being treated.
Taping and Bracing injured joints protects
them from being re-injured and allows for an earlier return
to activity. It decreases the strain being placed on the given
body part by providing proper support, and therefore decreases
pain and promotes healing.
We carry a variety of different bracing products that are
professionally fit by our physiotherapists, to specifically
fit your needs. We also provide measurements for some special
custom braces for knee ligament instabilities or osteo-arthritis.
Custom Foot Orthotics are designed to adjust
and control the foot biomechanics. They are used to treat/prevent
numerous injuries and conditions, by making standing, walking
and running more efficient.
A biomechanical exam is performed, followed by a foot cast
impression. These are sent to a professional Lab-The Orthotic
Group- where your orthotics are made by technicians with appropriate
knowledge, training and qualifications. Various types of orthotics
can be made to fit your needs.
